Cast I Tuesday, December 16th  @ 6:00pm (Dancers arrive at 5:15pm)

Cast II Wednesday, December 17th   @ 6:00pm (Dancers arrive at 5:15pm)

Cast III Thursday, December 18th   @ 6:00pm (Dancers arrive at 5:15pm)

Dress Rehearsals at the (Reno) Studio in December – Sunday, December 14th

 

 

Dress Dress Rehearsal – will be held at our Reno location

Times are approximate. Please be warmed up and ready to dance 15 minutes prior to rehearsal block. You may leave after your dance has rehearsed.

 

Performances- 

Please arrive ready (in first costume with hair and makeup done)  at 5:15pm. 

 

Backstage Volunteers

We need at least Two parents from each dance to help out backstage (three is better). 

If you would like to help, please email Ms. Marie at xscapepac@gmail.com. You can also add

your name to the signup sheets at the studio.

Backstage helpers will need to stay with the class during the whole show. They will be

responsible for the students in that dance until the show is over. Helpers will be allowed to watch the  dance from the side of the stage when it is performing but will be expected to

supervise dancers in the dressing room during the rest of the show. 

We will also need help for the students with quick-changes. Please have your dancer practice

their quick changes at home to ensure their success. Pro-tip:Layering tights can be a big help!

 

 

Stage Make-up/Hair

It is important to understand why we wear make-up for performances. The lights 

onstage are bright. They will wash out the dancers' facial features. Make-up helps to darken up

those features and let your dancer shine. "Natural look" make-up will not be enough for the

stage lights. Please consult your teacher if you have any questions. 

General Guide to Stage Make-up

 

Foundation - 1 shade darker than natural skin tone

Blush - pink 

Eyeliner - Black

Mascara - Black

Eyeshadow - Neutrals to contour - Please no blue or purple

Lipstick – Red (pink okay for Little Dancers and Pre-Ballet/Tap)

False Eyelashes - a must for older and team dancers

Hair for all dances will be a slicked back, low bun. If your hair is too short for a bun, please

consult your teacher.
